I had a planned C scheduled for Aug 4the and I was so scared and nervous, the waiting game was almost unbearable. I wound up going into labor on Aug 1 (which also happens to be my husband and my anniversary), and because I went into labor there virtually wasn’t any time to be nervous or scared. I think my body made the decision for me to help aid my nerves. Sometimes our bodies just know what’s best for us.

Another note on hand expressing: you have to squeeze pretty hard. I didn’t know I could squeeze my breasts with that much pressure until a nurse showed me how. If I didn’t know that, I probably wouldn’t get more than a drop or two at time

My friends theory is schedule the induction and your body relaxes then you’ll go into labor haha not full proof obviously but worked for her!
