@mya.nichol: part 6/9: back from the dead — getting replies [comment “ENGAGE” for my free Email Deliverability Guide] a reply is worth more than an open. Gmail is watching whether people interact with your emails, and replying is the strongest signal! the four asks I’ve used in my emails to get replies ↓ 1. beta testers — this one got me 200+ replies. people will always raise their hand for early access. → “I’m looking for people to beta test this before it goes live — hit reply and say “BETA” and I’ll send you the link” 2. reply for a guide take what you just taught and go one layer deeper in a one-page PDF. only way to get it is to reply. → “if you want to dive deeper into content series, I created a guide breaking down some of my favorite content series that I’ve seen recently and also a library of links to content series that I’ve loved. Hit reply and say “series” and I’ll send them over to you for free!” 3. ask a specific question not “let me know your thoughts.” nobody replies to that.get specific → “What is the number one thing that you’re struggling with the most when it comes to selling on Instagram stories?” 4. offer an audit people will always take free eyes on their own work. → “reply with your content series idea and I’ll tell you what I’d change about it (if anything!)” I also got an email from someone that I’m subscribed to today who is running a challenge with her fitness app. She’s having people reply with a keyword every time they get an email from her in the month of September and if they do that they get an extra entry into the giveaway!
