sounds just like my upbringing when I got my period I hid in the woods crying thinking I was dying and my neighbor found me and she talked to me about it and then in school my teacher when I got there did my hair and also while doing my hair she would make me soak my nails in this nasty stuff to keep me from chewing my nails and the first time I had sex I had no clue what I was doing but the very first time with my first and only bf I got pregnant just by one time and I was living on my own at age 14 with this dude on a farm in the middle of no where and finally got away after he almost killed me and my family wasn't there for me then either and now I'm happily married to my husband I met after my ex and we have been married for over 10 yrs and wouldn't change it but everything was weird to me because I never been on a boat or out to eat but to like McDonald's because my grandma would bring us that once a month but we was not allowed to touch the toys my grandma kept them and put them on a wall but we as kids wasn't allowed to go out to eat with our parents and the first time I went to Walmart I was like 8 and other than that it was DG by our house and I never went on vacation or field trips or anything and then I was messed with sexual starting from age 4 for years even by my dad. Then I was 5 yrs old baby sitting my older brother and responsible for him and to cook for him and once I hit grade 9th I woke up to go to school one day and was told I wasn't in school anymore and then my parents split up and told me they had no place for me to go so I kinda was forced to end up living with my crazy ex. but my husband now it's crazy how different it is with us because he has done so so much and I never did so getting to do all this stuff I'm like a child getting to do new stuff I get overwhelmed but enjoy it. then I still have these like maid bells I used to sit behind the rocker in the living room ringing them as loud as possible when my parents got into it because it always ended up with them taking it out on me. 🖤
