Honestly, seeing the comments made me wonder, why does everyone hate children this much?! If these were cats, everyone would be like, “Aww! Hold them right now!” or “Oh, look at this adorable little cat!” and blah blah just cuz cat love has become a freaking trend atp, but when it's kids it's all fun and games, apparently no one here has a personality of their own now cuz how exactly is a cat different from a child?! And please don’t tell me that children are capable of communicating and understanding these things, If that were really the case, we wouldn’t have such strict measures when it comes to children, their feelings, and their privacy. They’re sensitive little beings, and any experience that hurts their feelings (yes, even what YOU "quirky" people dismiss as “just a joke”) can leave a long-term impact on them, from becoming withdrawn to developing a negative view of themselves.
These videos are literally making fun of children’s feelings, kids don’t understand “it’s just a joke” and we can all tell, + yes, it might get adults a few seconds of laughter, but the child can spend the entire day thinking about what happened even if you "make it up" to them later, the embarrassment they felt, and the disappointment they experienced is a big thing to such little experience in life. It can shake their confidence in themselves, in their parents, and even in their ability to navigate social situations properly.
so when they get bullied or hurt later outside their home and they never tell you don't come crying on platforms asking for help, it's probably cuz they felt safer not telling you, they believe you'd look at them the same as the bullies and monsters outside do, that's what you made them believe.
None of this is funny, and these comments aren’t funny either.
