My boy best friend and I have been friends since we were children and have never done anything or even had crushes on each other as kids. We hangout/call/talk almost every single day and we have gotten each other and supported each other through so much. To say that men and women cannot be just friends is so harmful bc it implies that they cannot be around each other without any kind of intimacy whatsoever, it implies that we can’t just see each other as human and not sexual or romantic partners. It’s fucking weird.

Guys don’t message or call their BEST friends. My BEST guy friends talk to me once a year. I FOUND out he had a baby like 6 months after the fact. I have one female friend, who is a gamer and we played video games twice in 5 years. Who has the time to always talk on the phone???
