Im psychotic and been on treatment since 2023,the voice you hear during manic episodes comes as inner voice inside your head,it’s like intrusive thoughts,it’s almost never male or female. The whole thing makes zero sense to me as someone with similar experience. I can’t help but think there was actually someone in the room speaking to her because otherwise how the fuck did she hear a male voice outside of her head? It’s not how it happens

When she fell and Patrick found her, she was still awake during the 911 call, so she heard him telling the police what she had done, which stayed in her subconscious. Maybe he told her exactly what happened, framing it as if she was the one who did it, and of course she would believe it because of the psychosis.
