Yes, you understood it correctly. It’s true that we believe the Bible has been corrupted, but that doesn’t mean it contains no divine truths. We see in the bible that Jesus (peace be upon him) believed in the oneness of God, prayed to God, and that his teachings are consistent with the teachings of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). So why reject the Qur’an, which is a continuation of the same chain of prophets calling people to worship one God ?

I think u r pretty spot on. But what u highlighted in one of these verses is “kun fa ya koon” be and it is! When Allah wants to create something he simply says be. This will be mentioned many times as u continue to read. For example - When he created Adam and Jesus and when he decrees a matter He simply says Kun - Be. This is where Muslims and Christian’s differ in the meaning Jesus is the word of God. We believe Jesus birth was miraculous as he was born without a father and then Allah said Kun and therefore is a product of Allahs speech however the Christians as u know differ in this understanding. They believe he is the eternal Word who existed before time began. Because a speaker and their inherent "word" cannot be separated, Christians view the Word as inherently divine—God revealing Himself to humanity in human form. The Quran gives a similitude in the creation of Adam having no mother nor father by gathering a handful of soil and dust from all over the earth. This soil was mixed with water to form wet clay, which transformed into sticky and resonant mud. Allah then shaped Adam into a fully grown human form with His own hands. After the clay dried and hardened, Allah breathed His spirit and soul into the form, and Adam came to life using the word Kun. Jesus was born without a father. The angel Gabriel blew a breath (Ruh) into the sleeve or collar of Maryam's garment by Allahs command. This breath, carrying the soul created by Allah, traveled to her womb, causing her to instantaneously conceive Jesus. His spirit was breathed into Jesus and then the word Kun was again mentioned. "Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created him from dust; then He said to him, 'Be,' and he was." This is what stood out to me. Your interpretation of the verses in general are brilliant and I love your open mindedness to gain knowledge rather than hearsay. I can’t put into words how I’m enjoying watching u go on this journey. I hope it opens other peoples hearts to do the same for the same reason u r, to understand everyone’s differences and beliefs to therefore love your neighbour 🌹 we don’t have to agree but we can at least respect one another🥰

Honestly, Your analysis and understanding is one of the most eye openings. It made Me see and understand why the Quran always encourages the people of the book to read it and understand it. You don't read the stories as they are, but with the meaning behind them and their connection. You repeatedly put words to thoughts I knew, but never said or stated. The way you're sitting to understand each ayah is something all Muslims should do.

Waraqa Ibn Nawfal the uncle of Khadija the prophet's wife was a dedicated scholars and Christian the true way of Jesus pbuh, when prophet pbuh received the very first few verses of the Quran his wife took him to her uncle's and he said this angel that comes to you is the secret barrier Gabriel that came Moses and Jesus he said if i live long enough for when people exile you I'd support you and believe in your prophethood he actually died 3 days later. anyways i recommend reading about him!
