@monicaumunna: You can pray for a strong leader and still be completely unprepared for what it actually means to follow one… A strong leader isn’t only a leader when you agree with him. He doesn’t stop leading when the season gets hard, when his decision isn’t what you would have chosen, or when your feelings are telling you to go another direction. That doesn’t mean your feelings don’t matter. It also doesn’t mean a husband gets to be controlling, dismissive, or unloving. It just means his leadership can’t be conditional on your agreement… So yes, pray for the strong man. Pray for the leader. Just make sure you’re also asking God to prepare your heart to follow the kind of man you prayed for, even when following him isn’t easy!! 🙏🏼🫶🏼🫡🙌🏼❤️
