@genamarie.co: 👇🏼 Everything I used in this test is linked in my profile. I split my head down the middle and used a curl cream on one side only. Same wash, same gel, same amount, same styling on both sides. Day one, the cream side already had a softer cast. That's the tradeoff. You get softness. Day two is where they split. Frizz on one side, definition holding on the other. Your gel probably isn't underperforming. I’m not understanding how everyone is a pro on what curls needs when in fact everyone’s hair is different especially if it’s to dry or not so if a certain way works for one , it doesn’t mean it will for the other. Like leave in conditioner weighs my curls down, mousse works the best with my hair 🤷🏻‍♀️
