I also remember on Saturdays you had to get up early to watch cartoons because they only came on once a week. So we watched the super friends, Captain caveman, Thundar the barbarian,Scooby Doo… And then when it was over, you had to wait another week. BTW I hated Captain kangaroo.

lol I’m a millennial I remember the yellow pages thinking back to it now have my number in a book where anyone can have it freaks me out now lol and I remember the first time we go a cordless phone I thought it was the coolest thing and the old camcorders you had to put on your shoulder because it was so big

Aahh the good old days! 4 TV channels [Tears of joy] I used to get smash hits magazine that had the lyrics to current music. Played Pac-Man, and punishment was staying in 🤣🤣

Walking a mile to go to the library to do a research paper. You had to know how to look up the book in the card catalog and then hunt for it on the shelf. If it was a reference book you couldn’t take it out and you had to pay 10 cents a page to xerox the pages you needed. Truly the good old days. How I wish we could go back.

We were lucky we experienced things that will never come again and we were self sufficient, good problem solvers, cooks,babysitters we had,Saturday jobs at 12 kids,out at 5am delivering newspapers. Happy days 😁👍🇬🇧
