You should also clarify that the light test is only for English. Foreign cards do not pass the light test due to not having a black line between. Their lines are blue and mint green 😊

Easiest way is to check in the circle of the P in pokemon, should have a checkered/staic looking texture inside

I think the light test is only applicable to English cards. Light passes thru the Japanese cards. I could be wrong though. 🤔

p-hole test. with a microscope or lens check the hole in the P on the back. if the print job shows squares = legit. if its circles or blobs = fake

for English cards, look at the top and side, you should see a faint black line, if so, its real but also double check the texture if its on a super rare card

Fake cards now have the dark core too now, so the light test and edge core is no longer enough.
