Well, can't the partner change his perspective on the relationship? Since he believe that control and possession are signs of loyalty (which, as you said, stems from jealousy, fear, and extreme possessiveness), perhaps she could show him he don't need it... especially if she notices his restrictive ways and his attempts to mold and control her, making her dependent on him. Ultimately, any reasonable person will realize that this is completely unhealthy.

Baby! I love your account! I love Tom! Future Mrs. Riddle! Here! Baby!🙏🏻🌸 (Both, haha) Ahhhhhhhh GOD I KNEW TOM WOULD BE AN OBSESSIVE YANDERE! And that at least physically he wouldn't be violent with his partner (like hitting, injuring, threatening). I feel like it would just be the "silent treatment." Loooove this! And I totally agree!! I love you analysis! I don’t think he would be violent towards his partner.. I think he would just give you the silent treatment which is what lunita said which is completely invalidating.. he would def not validate your emotions because feelings are nonexistent and a weakness to him. He would make make completely dependent on him and definitely manipulate you oh a he would be a total gaslighter…
