if there’s ANY other option definitely try because manipulating toxic people NEVER change they may change their ways for a little while but the facade will break and they’ll go immediately go back into their old habits. And the abuse definitely takes a toll on people. I really hope you find another way so you don’t have to go back though. ♥️

Vent if you need. Take the time you need to process this before making decisions. Try your own research on options to see if going back is the best option for you or if there are others out there. Comfort does not equal happiness. Forgiving does not create change. It creates peace for the victim to let go. You do not have to accept anything at all. Nor do you have to forgive. You try to do what is best for you. Everything will work out in the end and sometimes we can’t see through the storm but this will work out for the best.

i’d look for other options if you haven’t already. the offer from you dad should be the very last option you choose. i wouldn’t accept the forgiveness bc if he hasn’t done anything to change there no reason to forgive. i wish i knew what to say but i dont. but we’re all here for you!
