@heather_in_progress: Since surgery, I’ve been in a funk. Recovery hasn’t moved as fast as I wanted, I’ve missed exercise more than I expected, and I’ve been way too focused on getting back to “normal.” But today felt different. ❤️ I finally saw a little light at the end of the tunnel. I’m finally back in my weekly shot rhythm, I got out and about in my compression, took breaks when I needed them, did a little retail therapy 😂, and for the first time in a while I felt more like ME. This recovery is teaching me that my expectations for myself are sometimes way too high. I always want to push, fix, and move faster… and sometimes that bites me in the butt.
