As a Black man, I've been seeing a lot of my sisters grieving and at first I had the same question. But then it hit me - real grief transcends color. When someone like Dolly Parton spends 60 years showing love with no agenda - giving millions of books to our kids through her Imagination Library, honoring Whitney, showing respect to Beyoncé, standing up for people when it wasn't popular - that love sticks. We as Black folks know what genuine love vs. fake love looks like. And when we feel it's real, we invest in it hard. That's why you're seeing that outpouring. It's not about country music, it's about a good human being. Respect like that doesn't have a color line
