what baffles me is that the 5 prayers aren't mentioned in the quran but only 3, until I looked up an old religion called Zoroastrianism and it had the exact same number of prayers... so was the mentioning of the white horse with wings on Israa and Miiraj night.... so I don't know....

Musa wasn’t informing Allah of something Allah didn’t know. He was advising Prophet Muhammad S.A.W to ask Allah for mercy, and Allah had already known and willed the entire exchange. Allah knows what we need before we make dua, yet our requests still have meaning and purpose. Likewise, the reduction displayed Allah’s mercy and gave us the reward of 50 prayers while only requiring five. The conversation shows the prophets’ concern for humanity; it does not suggest any limitation in Allah’s knowledge. Otherwise, we could also ask why we make dua when Allah already knows what we need.

This hadith is blasphemy, it is designed to portray the Prophet as the one bringing us mercy from the cruel prescription of fifty prayers from Allah. In the hadith he gets it reduced after multiple requests, so he literally bargains with Allah.

That means u did not understand the creed. Whatever happens is still within the knowledge and wisdoms of Allah. So the Hadith shows the compassion of the prophets and has Allah encouraged dialogue even He knows what is going to happen. So his creation questioned something and get something different the end result is till under the knowledge of Allah. Another lesson is Islam encourages dialogue in the Quran there is a dialogue between Allah and Satan. So Quran is not going to mention everything that’s what Hadith is for.

I don’t think this is right, Allah does everything for a purpose, by this logic a lot of things would be false for example, in the time of prophet isah alcohol was permissible and only became haram after an incident in prayer being said wrong and then he was made an example and for Muslims alcohol became haram. Somtimes he creates these scenarios that are impactful and help guide us through our deen. This Hadith has multiple teachings for us which is why Allah commanded 50 to begin with and let’s the prophet go back and forth for his people.

I truly always agree with your posts and I love your insight so much. But I always thought it was like a lot of the other stories we have in Islam that obviously Allah knows the truth and the ending, but we hear about the full story as a way to apply it to our lives. So I used to think the moral of this story was to know how raheem Allah is, like it does correlate with the verse you quoted - BECAUSE Allah doesn’t burden a soul with more than it can bear, he gave us only 5 obligatory prayers. This is just me thinking out loud btw!!

Salaam, I wanna understand how exactly you follow certain things in Islam such as 1. Praying Salah the way Mohammad ﷺ prayed (Allah mentions multiple times that he is our role model so we should most definitely be atleast praying the way he did, ayah 33:21) and what to recite in between/during actions, 2. How Janazah should be prayed, 3. How Hajj is to be performed because Allah doesn’t mention in Quran the exact steps that we should do during it and also the exact dates where we need to visit which and which places, 4. What exactly we need to pay as zakaat in which exact amounts because Allah only mentioned the obligatory nature of it, and Mohammad ﷺ showed us how to do it, 5. How we’re supposed to follow ayah 4:59, because the Quran is Allah’s word and he still told us to follow Mohammad ﷺ’s word as well, and also the fact that all our religious authority follow Hadith, what’s to be done in that situation, 6. How to understand what exactly dajjal’s fitnah will be because dajjal is never mentioned in Quran, Allah conveyed that through Mohammad’s statements instead, 7. What exactly the concept of Tabarruj is in 33:33, and what does Allah exactly mean by Pre-Islamic jahiliyyah because you don’t believe in Hadith which describes that

The qiblah was originally toward Jerusalem then Allah changed it to the Kaaba as mentioned in the Quran. So yes, even Allah can command something and then change it eventhough he knew the final outcome. So that change doesnt mean he lacks in knowledge, it just means he changed the command. And regarding moses story it may have been the same logic but with wisdom behind it. God showing his mercy by reducing the number and highlighting the importance of prayer.
