@phoenix.news0: 🚨 ARMED BARRICADE AT PHOENIX BAR ENDS IN ARREST PHOENIX — A man accused of being armed and barricading himself inside a Phoenix bar was taken into custody Tuesday morning following a nearly six-hour police response. Around 2 a.m. on August 25, Phoenix Police responded to a bar near 35th and Dunlap avenues after receiving reports of a man with a weapon inside the business. When officers arrived, they worked to safely evacuate employees and patrons from the bar before establishing contact with the business and attempting to communicate with the barricaded man. The situation continued throughout the early morning hours as officers worked toward a peaceful resolution. Around 8 a.m., the man was taken into custody, bringing the hours-long barricade to an end.
