@whitneylynn123: Please hear what I’m saying. I loved Dolly Parton too, but as an evangelist, my concern is where people’s souls are going. That’s my job—I care about eternity. That’s why I live every day determined to tell at least somebody about Jesus, because hell is real. Some of you have seen it. Some of you have died and come back. Some have experienced demonic oppression, and some have witnessed demons cast out through deliverance. Eternity is real. I don’t understand why we’re so consumed with the temporary when we should be preparing for eternity. No, we are not saved by works—we are saved by grace through faith. But grace is not a free pass to live however we want or take God for granted. We should desire to live a life that pleases Him. I pray for everyone mourning Dolly’s loss. And I pray this becomes a wake-up call for those who are on the fence, dabbling in sin, or living lukewarm. Today is here. Tomorrow is not promised. James 4:14 says, “You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.” And Psalm 39:5 reminds us that our days are like a handbreadth. Life is but a vapor. Here today, gone tomorrow. Get right with Jesus Christ. Stop playing with eternity. Dive in 100% with Him.
