I used to sometimes shower with my baby if she was extra fussy and I was home alone with her. I would put a baby bath seat on the floor of the shower and cover her body with a muslin blanket and keep her nice and warm through out the shower.

I never understood the not having time to shower part of having a newborn. I always showered. I put him down in a safe place and showered.

I never understood new moms who say they can’t shower. A shower takes 10 minutes. Babies sleep a lot. Just take a shower.

This is not talked about enough… the importance of keeping your routines! I feel like my kiddos are easy going because they have always been included in our routines rather than being the reason I can’t do things. You are doing great!!

In my experience it gets harder the older they get. My little one is 9 months now and he will not let me do anything. I used to put him in his rocker or bouncer while I showered in the morning and that’s just not an option anymore. He’s also in the in between stage of rolling around everywhere and lifting himself up on things and almost crawling.

Also keep the same routine for your child too because they respond better to routine routine routine routine. I cannot stress that enough.

It's harder when they grow up. My 11 month old is walking around and is trying to get into literally everything. So if I'm showering she will try and come play in the toilet or screaming in her playpen. So I'm either stopping her from getting into everything or listening to her scream in the playpen cause she can't see me. Very relaxing if you ask me 😂😂
