Worst take of all time, this guy thinks Rockstar isn't in cahoots with Sony and they aren't okay with this "change". If Rockstar didn't know about this change before and believed this would hurt sales of their games Sony would immediately revert the decision once some pressure is applied. Let me remind you Rockstar kinda started this by not releasing gta 6 on physical discs on launch. Like the leaker said, going to digital only was plotted for years and his statement makes sense if you look at decisions made by major "console" companies such as Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo (though Nintendo not so much like others) for example digital only console models, seperate blu ray scanners, game key cards, converting physical games to digital games and finally the decision to have a digital only console line up. His statement is 100% factually correct.
