Exactly. As a former adult entertainer and living in the fast lane, also having church hurt… this life on paper doesn’t make sense. I said I’d be crazy to turn my back on God after all the evidence he threw at me. Laying that life down was easy, not picking it back up was hard. Only God ❤️

I feel like I’m one of a few who doesn’t have ‘church hurt’ as you said. I grew up at a great Bible teaching conservative church and have zero childhood issues from that church. I only look back with great memories of a great church that loved and cared for its members. And to be clear I walked away for years and wasn’t saved until I was older. But good churches do exist that don’t hurt people.
