@hiddenintheshadowspodca2: The Devil’s Tramping Ground A spot of unsolved mystery. This North Carolina haunted hotspot has intrigued many for the past 300 years. The barren 40-foot circle ⭕️ is located in Chatham County, North Carolina. Inside the circle, nothing is supposed to grow, and animals don’t like going near it. While there are a few different legends as to why the circle is barren, the main one is the most bizarre. The legend states that at midnight, the Devil appears and paces around the barren circle. The land itself is private property and belongs to the Dowd family. The farm on which the circle sits has been in the family for more than 100 years. With that said, we are going to be diving even further into the history, the soil tests, what we experienced and our own theories in an all-new episode dropping this week.
