Alone¿ :
I kept looking and couldn’t take my eyes off even for a second, couldn’t help my mouth to try expressing how beautiful it was with my inadequate words, no matter how much I knew the winter would end and the same winter would never come back again. Maybe because I thought if I cherished the moment enough for the winter I waited for so long, if I showed my love enough, even though I knew it was impossible maybe it would come back some day. But I knew the truth, an obvious one at that. The same winter won’t come back again, the one I once admired so much, with my everything I could have. Beautiful things can’t last long, so I cherished the moment while it lasted. What remained inside me was nothing else than the nostalgia wherever I saw the winter again, even when I knew it was not the same winter again. I didn’t know if I should be grateful because even for once I met with something so admirable, or mourn it and rebel till my last breath. So I just hummed a lullaby, one that only she and me could feel and understood so well. “Nostalgia chases destiny, runs away from its own destiny, only to lose its inevitable ‘destiny.’”
