My biggest fear for Doomsday is that they'll either kill Loki or undermine his power and accomplishments in favor of making Doom as intimidating as possible. Just like they did in Infinity War. I know Doom is really powerful and intelligent, but introducing a character who can too easily defeat someone like Loki (who could literally just freeze him in time) out of seemingly nowhere (yes, he's well known in the comics. But for those who aren't familiar with the comics, he's a new character) doesn't feel right. I don't disagree with your theory, I'm just concerned about how they could do it. Basically I'm worried they'll render Loki to just a plot device instead of treating him like his own character.
