@john.k.media: Speaker of parliament Rt Hon Jacob Oboth added Hon Julius Nakiyi a minute on his submission time on the floor of parliament saying experts like Julius Nakiyi deserve more time. Nakiyi was contributing to the debate on the motion for adoption of the report of the infrastructure committee regarding Kampala Entebbe Expressway. Nakiyi said the true cost of the expressway should include capitalised interest in line with international accounting standards. He also proposed privatisation of toll collections to entities that have capital and can pay government in advance to reduce corruption. The speaker also advised the Leader of government business Robina Nabbaja to take advantage of experts like Julius Nakiyi and deploy them accordingly.
