Homemade Oreos Ingredients Cookies: • 200g flour (1⅔ cups) • 50g Dutch process cocoa powder (½ cup) • 200g sugar (1 cup) • 150g butter (⅔ cup) • 1 egg • 1½ tsp baking soda • Pinch of salt ⸻ Filling: • 75g salted butter(⅓ cup) • 2 tbsp vanilla • 125g powdered sugar (1 cup) Instructions 1. In a bowl, mix butter + sugar + egg, then add flour, Dutch process cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix just until a soft dough forms (don’t knead) 2. Roll the dough on parchment (not too thick, not too thin), cut into circles using any circle you have (I use a spice lid), place on a lined tray with space between, then chill in freezer for 15 minutes 3. Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 10 minutes (don’t overbake — they will firm up after cooling) 4.
