I've had a pantry for years. was taught to preserve as a child and have carried it through my life. let's just say if and when sh_t hits the fan, my family will be ok🦋🦋🦋

Years ago I remember a family of 7 died of botulism from something canned. They were presumed pros.. So about 4 years ago I canned from my garden 6 cans of corn, 8 of string beans and about 6 of tomatoes. I was extra careful and every jar sealed. I got paranoid and threw it all out. I'm sure I will never be completely comfortable canning and can only do hot baths. What a pickle I'm in. Thank you for all your information. Very helpful.

*Zucchini recipe* use zucchini in place of cucumbers for sweet relish. It elevates the relish and uses up a ton of zucchini. It always goes fast around my family. I’ve also seen zucchini in place of pineapple chunks. I’m intrigued.
