It's an aggressive cancer, so I want to be sure the test is done properly because the sooner I know there's a problem the sooner it can be treated, so I would always go to the surgery.

Get your test, scan, anything. I had cervical cancer last year and because of where the tumour was, doctors gave me a pelvic exam. every. single. appointment. I easily had over 50 exams, fingers, tools go up there in a year. Getting one scan or test could prevent this. You can get an MRI as well instead of an exam. Don't mess around and delay it. And treatment sent me into menopause at 34yrs old. Don't miss your scan.

I found the at home one so much better - it was way less painful than the one done by my gynaecologist. If it had come back with anything I obviously would’ve gone to have the proper test done - but if I can feel better by doing it in a space I feel safe, and with less pain then it’s a win win!
