p2. but if the beings are pure - where does the darkness come from? this is a heavily Catholic pondering, cause I just keep going back to Lucifer, who as an angel was a being of pure light right? but he still somehow got corrupted by this darkness. I don't know, but it's interesting, because on one hand - couldn't Eru just erase that darkness, and on the other - free will and free choices. ehhh. okay, let's get back. scrolls! I love scrolls. are they supposed to represent knowledge perhaps? and how Annatar passes it on? mmmm the corset with the strings all messy. is that a metaphor for Annatar slowly unraveling the longer his scheme goes on, and perhaps the inevitable loss of control? or is it because Tyelpë started to untie it? wait, but I also love how it's on top of the door. so could it also be someone's defences lowering? is someone becoming more unguarded, letting others closer? perhaps even opening the door to let someone in? OH AND HE LEAVES AT THE END OF THE EDIT AND HE ARRIVES AT THE BEGINNING OF IT! THAT'S SO CLEVER! and hehehehe I love how he's no longer wearing white in that last scene. wardrobe is very important in visual media, so him having that black robe later meant a lot to me, you could see he was letting more of his nature/narrative role shine through and then take over. OH WAIT THE HAIR WAS DARK AND LIGHT IN THAT ONE PIC! is that also a reference to his versions? the light haired one, the white, the holy, and the dark haired, the black, the haunted??? stunning work. loved this so much, it made me think and I love that! thank you for making it!!!

MMMMMM I love how silver it is at the beginning! it reminds me of his hair or of Telperinquar 🤭 ohhh I love how ethereal it is! the music is so soft and gentle here, absolutely contrasting the quote! I love that there's this aesthetic of light and purity and angel-like qualities but the truth is different and it's staring me right in the face, but it's not that easy to believe it with all of this cover up, with the appearance just speaking of so much light (this is a magnificent play on your part, because it made me understand his victims more now!) though you know what, it's actually screaming at me to see the light and drown in it almost. it's overwhelming and it's bordering on too much. this is perfect. ok ok, I love those images of beauty and all of it being LIGHT but my favourite are the hands in the upper left. they are like a saint's or an angel's hands, bestowing something beautiful upon the others (but! the placement of those hands looks like that someone is beneath them 🤭) bringer of death indeed, but I just can't help thinking about Eru saying that Men have the Gift of Death. such a nice parallel and play here between the gifts and the death! mmmmm the hair, love the hair. ohhh him with that angelic look on his face. he looks like a painting sometimes, I could just stare at him. ugh this edit is making me realise his ways so well. OOOOOP we have moved on to fire now!!! I love that top frame of him behind those flames. he looks like he's emerging from the fires or as if he feels right at home there. OOOOOHHHHHH BOTH HAUNTED AND HOLY!!! he is he is he is! he is this god like being, this angelic creation, he is holy! but he's haunted through his own actions and choices! okay, time out, discuss with me - has he been haunted from the beginning? was the darkness sung into him forever? cause if not, if they all start out pure - where does the darkness come from? it is born inside us, right, and if Eru knows everything, he knew that Mairon would lose his way. so, in some way, wasn't darkness always in him, but just dormant? hmmmm, is darkness in everyone, but just dormant, and through the choices it can awaken and take over?
