I actually hate wrinkly flat faced dogs 😔 I mean I don’t hate the dogs themselves but like the look just seems so unhealthy and wrong and shouldn’t be a thing unless in some rare case it is actually natural and not made from humans breeding them. It’s genuinely not cute

Not all breeding is the same. You can find ethical breeders who do all the things that they should be doing. (Proper health testing, confirmation, sports or showing.) there should be better regulation of breeding and breeding programs. Potential owners should be doing a ton of research before getting a dog of any breed. Purebred doesn’t always mean well bred. Adopt or shop responsible, there are plenty of resources on the AKC website to help you find an ethical breeders closest to you.

And this is why I got a old English bulldog what bulldogs should look like not small and saggy and can’t breath my girl is 9 years old not a single vet bill apart from booster shots each year
