I thought they minimum age for these things is 16... and i'm sure that they weren't just casually riding the eBikes in the street... more like menacing traffic ignoring rules of the road and thinking they're invincible... Charge the parents...

My son was hit by a car on his e-bike- riding home from school on the sidewalk. Car failed to yield. Hes not the wheelie popping kids you see everywhere just a regular kid minding his business.

at this point, 17+ but need to take a class and have a permit to ride them. since more dont understand the rules of the road nor are the parents teaching there kids.

Most people don’t realize that e-bikes are required to follow every Traffic law as a motorist that goes for pedal bikes as well. That includes Lane of travel, direction of travel, lighting most of these E bike accidents are not caused by motorist.

the speed these bikes go is unfamiliar to a lot of kids at first. and then, they need to learn how to stop or avoid traffic at these speeds. some kids, do not know how to safely ride at these speeds and how to react other or avoid danger once at these speeds.
