Done it in both Thailand and China, when I needed a transport in heavy traffic. Make sure they give you a helmet.

Captain Smit Machchhar, an Indian national and flydubai captain, has been identified as the pilot stabbed during a terrifying cockpit confrontation aboard Flight FZ1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv. The Boeing 737 suddenly plunged nearly 14,000 feet in less than 30 seconds before emergency signals were transmitted. According to Israeli officials cited by Reuters, Machchhar’s Omani co-pilot allegedly stabbed him and attempted to crash the aircraft. Passengers and crew intervened, while another set of pilots travelling aboard the aircraft took control and eventually landed safely at Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. All passengers survived. Machchhar has more than 13 years of Boeing 737 experience and reportedly around 9,750 flying hours. He previously worked for SpiceJet before joining flydubai in 2022.
