@yaypugs: Once again, it’s not quite cool, but it’s certainly not oppressively hot here in the South this morning. These mornings are almost cruel. It feels so nice outside. I can actually breathe. For a few hours, it tricks me into believing we’ve finally turned the corner and a beautiful day is ahead. We have not. It’ll be back in the 90s this afternoon, and by the end of the day I’ll probably have changed clothes three times from sweating. Yet somehow I’m still foolish enough to wake up every morning thinking maybe cooler weather is only a day or two away. In reality, I know we’ve probably got another month. But right now there’s coffee, fog on the lake, a little hint of fall in the air, and hope. I’ll take it. Now it’s time to finish the coffee, finish taking care of the pugs, maybe get in a morning walk, then head out and face the day. Get a workout in. Get some things accomplished. And eventually solve that eternal daily mystery… What’s for dinner?
