excellent advice - I'm just an intermediate player and recently bought a Schecter C1 diamond series standard with Steve Vai dimarzio evolution pickups and a 2013 model Gibson Les Paul studio and set up a pedal board mainly for that 80s tone and some old school blues, I use a marshall origin 5 valve amp and a blackstar core 40, but want a mix of the two amps - so Google recommended a marshall DSL40 I think it's called. I like the Kramer's but don't have one - I ordered one but then it was out of stock, the charvels are nice too.
