I won't wear: wood, any with screw on backings (unless I can put them in and take the out without using it) most flare tunnels and probably others I'm forgetting. I've had too many bad experiences over the years 😭 I hope you get them out!

I would just keep it lubed up and just leave it alone. Try your hardest not to touch it. Let it try to heal then you should be able to take it out.

It unfortunately looks 1-2 sizes too large for your current size, i dont think those type of hangers are supposed to be fitted I hope you’re able to get it out soon w minimal blowout

Don’t sleep on it! Stop touching it! Let the swelling go down and hopefully the weight of it will help stretch the hole out enough to get it out.

I def would say hangers shouldn’t be used to smaller sized AND freshly sized up, but we live and learn girly, try some oils and warm and cold compress and some anti inflammatory as well! Keep up updated!

Ohh Noo did you do the exact size you’re ear was?? If so that was probable you have to get them a size or 2 smaller(ik it isn’t helpful now😭) and I usually use saline spray and Vaseline and it heals up within 2-4 days

I don't know how sharp the material might be but have you considered braking it. This seems like it is to the point of needing medical attention. It could be at risk for infection and necrosis. You don't want to risk infection near your head.

I've had mine for 12 years, seriously just leave it. you'll do more damage to the tissue trying to force it out, manage the pain and be patient 😮💨

Ice and keep it moist with skin oil. Let it rest and take ibuprofen. 3 days it'll be down.

neilmed wound wash( purs saline spray) to avoid infection its already angry, ice pack several times a day for 20 mins at a time and ibuprofen every 6 hours to bring that sweeling down enough to get it out thats what I did when even oil wouldn't slide it out.

if it really isn't doing hot and you get too worried if you have insurance go to the hospital and they could cut the earing off and then slide it through.

I have this stuff called Holey Butt’r (it’s for stretched ears) and it came from Amazon. It worked really well for a lobe that was being really stubborn. Maybe try that? Between leaving it alone the rest of the time, massaging with Holey Butt’r, and the weight of the hanger stuck, I’d say it’ll come out.
