@Ty: Guys part of this isn’t true. Real Story: The mother and father were at work and there was a grandmother and caregiver watching him. He ran off away from his group. The caregiver instantly ran in there and pulled the boy out when she found out where he was. The father stated that that they were thankful for the zoo for helping them and his wounds were treated privately.

Severely autistic and he got away from his grandma and caretaker. Accidents happened and the lack of grace and mercy is ridiculous. Non verbal autistic children do not fully understand. I feel that there should be no lawsuits on either end as it was a horrible accident. What are people wanting...lock up and isolate autistic children? This woke ideologies of always punishing the parents or adults is ridiculous as well. Children can get away from parents. It happens all the time. You cant control someone's movements at all times. Love how the reporters twist this to sound as well like people just "let" the boy do this....ugh

nah if anything the moms should be fined for her son hitting that bird. that would teach her to control her child after that. autistic or not its the parents responsibility to control their young. the bird was following its instincts and protecting its mate, cant blame the bird. it didnt go after the child, the child went after the bird
