I think it was back in the '80s when they went out on tour together and had done the duets and just were at their A game, though they always were, nevertheless I bought my parents tickets pretty close to the front of the stage for their anniversary My dad was a big dolly fan, really the only female entertainer or entertainer. That he really liked, My dad was absolutely thrilled for the tickets as well as my mother but dad got the Polaroid already and they wouldn't big on cameras but there was a couple in front of them and the husband sit in front of my dad he was bald and my dad was using the flash and was just so excited that he was taking pictures 😂 of the back of this man's bald head with just above this man's bald head you can see Dolly and Kenny and it wouldn't just one picture it was just all of them, and my mom having such a sense of humor tap the woman on the shoulders turn around my mom handed her a picture to hear here's a picture of the back of your husband's head for you and she busted out laughing so did her husband and they became good friends with my parents for years, but I went to visit my parents a couple days after the concert and heard the story and my mom laid out all these Polaroid pictures and it was just the flash just made this guy's bald head so shiny It was like a full moon with just these two images of Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers above the full moon I'd never laughed so hard at the kitchen table. But they had a good time and met a nice couple that became long time good friends with.

I’ve been in the entertainment industry for 39 years and I run the Warner Theatre in Erie PA. Dolly did a concert here many years ago and I had the opportunity to meet her backstage and get an autograph picture and talk with her. She was absolutely marvelous and what a spark plug of a personality. On the other hand, Kenny, I’ve met him numerous times over the years playing here Last being in 2015 at the end of his Christmas and his tour to a sold out crowd always had the time to talk with me backstage and even got to know him over the years, signed autographs and took pictures with me. What a special guy he was idolize him since I was 15 so it’s one thing getting to meet your idol but a whole Nother level of amazing when you get to become an acquaintance with him I miss him and his music dearly, but I consider myself one of the luckiest people to have met and know both of them.
