When my house burned down and we essentially lost everything, when I contacted the imagination library about changing our address they sent us a box full of extra books. Her love was passed down into all of them and I’m heart broken to live in a world without her.

I found out during lunch yesterday. I had just started college the day before. I've grown up loving her, and love older style music. 80 years wasn't nearly enough for the heart she had. Gone but never forgotten 💔

I took one of your ideas and went to Goodwill and bought some kids books and put them in a little free library in Dollys honor. 🥰 I plan to do it fairly frequently, the LFL was empty.

She will definitely be missed! Not many people know this, but Dolly was a Lifetime member of Girl Scouts too! She not only impacted children with Imagination Library, but she has impacted girls across the world with her “Coat of Many Colors” Girl Scout program ❤️

I’ve loved Dolly since I was a little kid. I used to record her variety tv show in VHS and watch it over and over. My parents brought me to her concert when I was a kid also. She was an amazing woman. I’ve been looking forward to seeing her Broadway show this winter.
