It’s actually not that grindy… Just like every game you first play now a days it doesn’t get interesting for fluent till 40-50 hours in. The things you think are grindy change later on when you get deviants and or tech points. The game is A LOT easier now a days compared to when I played in beta. Grindy…. lol you don’t understand grindy. go play genshin impact. That’s more grindy.

scenarios are there because everything you unlock you carry to next scenario when this one ends, all blueprints, all mods, and some of equipment you can retrieve (for example drill and chainsaw) that way in next season/scenario you can progress super fast and focus on bosses and dungeons

it all depends on your play style tbh, ive legit only had the game for 3 days and ive already built a decent size base w the facilities and all. You can build a dissembler and just break down spare facilities you find for bulk resources. saves literally 40mins-1hr of looting and gathering. There is always a method to the madness
