As someone who reallyy wants to be become a psychologist....fiction DOES affect reality, its simple knowledge!! Fiction can literally add onto our vocabulary, it can change how we act, it can change our personality, our views, etc. I met someone who was in fandoms that were centered around horror, and ended up having a dream where terrible, disgusting, violent things happened in it, and traumatized them. Fiction DOES affect reality, and it most definitely has affected you, positively, or negatively.
