If I could write a book about my father, the last sentence would be: ‘And after all the pages, all the memories, all the tears, and all the years that passed without you, I still wish I could turn back to the first chapter and have just one more day with my dad.🥹
I would write about the man you were, the love you gave, the sacrifices you made, and the memories you left behind. I would write about the little things I didn’t know I would miss so much the sound of your voice, your presence, your advice, and simply knowing that you were somewhere in this world. I would write about how losing you changed me in ways I can’t even explain.😭💔
There are so many things I wish I could tell you now. So many moments I wish you were here to see. Sometimes I catch myself wishing I could hear you speak to me just one more time, hug you just one more time, or sit beside you and tell you how much you mean to me. I wish I had known that the moments I thought were ordinary would one day become some of my most precious memories.😩
Your absence is something I have learned to live with, but it is something my heart will never truly get used to. There are days when I seem okay, and there are days when I miss you so deeply that I wish heaven had a way of letting us borrow our loved ones for just one more day.
Dad, you may no longer be here for me to hold, but you will always be here in my heart. Your memory lives in me, in the person I am becoming, and in every story I tell about you. I will carry your name, your memories, and your love with me for the rest of my life.
And when I finally reach the last page of your story, I won’t say goodbye, I’ll simply say, ‘Thank you for being my father. I loved you then, I love you now, and I will love you for as long as I live. Until we meet again, Dad. 🕊️❤️🥹. May Your Gentle Soul Rest In Perfect Peace MR.AMOS LAARI🥹🥹🥹
