I went to a screening of this a few years ago, several people left before the end as it is LONG - but my god was I glad I stayed until the end, it is worth every single considered moment 👏

We only spend three days with her but when she overcooks the potatoes and later drops the spoon, its so shocking! We really feel immersed in her day to day habits. Akerman was a genius

Great film. Fascinating. Slow cinema. Not an easy watch, but if you like Bela Tarr’s or Theo Angelopoulos’ work, you should get into this. It is the first film to do this.
