I just drain water from the pump and heater. nothing else. never had a problem in over 15 years. this pool closing is just a big scam to charge you money.

Draining the pool is a waste of water and unnecessary,I’ve closed my pool every year for over 20 years and I’ve never drained it,keep the cover drained and it’s fine

Only lower if you have tiles to keep from cracking. If you have a vinyl pool there is no need to drain the pool.

Gizzmo's suck just put an expression winter plugs in it and poor 3/4 of an antifreeze bottle in the skimmer keep the rest in the bottom turn it upside down in the skimmer

I have a similar shaped pool and I have a problem with covering it. what is this cover? how does it hold the weight of snow? how does it hold onto the pavers? I have so many questions cause I gotta start thinking about pool closing, I have tree density in the back so a lot of leaves, I need to get an early start before leaves start falling

What no foam rope? its a good safety net just incase your plugs fail. I also throw some shock and algecide into the water before I put the cover on.
