Child marriage was not unique to Arabia in the 7th century. Societies in the ancient and medieval world often had very different concepts of childhood, adulthood, marriage, and sexual maturity than modern societies. That explains the historical context, but it doesn’t necessarily settle the modern moral question. Someone can acknowledge that the practice existed historically while still judging it by modern ethical standards. But still it doesn’t mean they bad people cos it’s different era and human evolves.. it doesn’t change Muhammad status
