Stop being a cheap@ss and charging your staff for their food.  If you own a restaurant, there is absolutely zero reason why you should be making your team pay to eat there. Your team should know your menu inside and out— that only happens if they can actually eat the food.  If I go to a new restaurant, one of the first things I do is ask the staff what they recommend. Way too often, they respond with,

That alone will keep me from ever eating there again, because why would I support someone who treats their workers that way? I cannot believe that this is even a controversial topic, but here we are.
