@24hoursofnepalofficial: As Nepal mourns the devastating Rasuwa flood, disturbing scenes have emerged of people risking their lives to collect LPG cylinders carried away by the floodwaters. A heartbreaking reminder that even amid tragedy, desperation and human behavior can take unexpected turns.#news #rasuwaflood #blackdayofnepal #foryou
You mean they are risking their lives for gas bottles that will help keep their community warm and fed during this unfolding tragedy? They are saving lives. Do not belittle this.

It’s truly sickening to blame people for trying to survive. They just lost their community, they don’t need any scrutiny

Stop questioning what they do. You will never truly understand how they survive without LPG. Think about it,if LPG were convenient and practical for them to use for many days. they find ways in order to survive their own family broo

I will also do the same. I will salvage for things that can help me rebuild my life. Nobody is coming to save me. If you blame them, then go and help those people rebuild their lives. Life will not stop. Life has to continue.

Well they’ve got to survive somehow after the disaster. Do people actually think that people just stands around doing nothing until someone gives them supplies? in a disaster like this with so many people in demands of help and supplies it could be many days till they could get help so obviously theyd have to gather whats left to survive and help others

"People wading chest-deep, pushing past bodies to reach gas cylinders, because a cylinder means you can cook and a body cannot be helped. Roads closed. Fuel lines stretching out of sight. Fuel will be the next crisis, and after that water, and you need the first to make the second safe to drink." from a contact in Nepal.
