As a heads up, some of the older trains don’t show what side the doors are gonna open. And they also don’t show your next stop. But most of the trains in the system do.

Please mention that if you travel in group, each person needs a Metro Card. We were in NYC prior to DC and you can get one card and scan it times X number of riders in your party. We loaded the fare for our party in one card and couldn’t get in.
