@americana.archives: The iceberg that sank the RMS Titanic on April 14, 1912, was a massive block of freshwater ice originating from a glacier in southwest Greenland #History #titanic
a survivor said it looked like the rock of gibraltar from europa point so the rehorek iceberg might be the one it hit

This is NOT the iceberg to that sank the Titanic. It is noted that the coordinates where this was photographed was north of where Titanic sank. The actual Titanic iceberg would have been south. Also no bodies or debris were found anywhere near this iceberg and it doesn’t look like what survivors described. It is most likely this one as it meets this criteria. Also one side of it appears to be damaged, like where the Titanic likely collided it. We will never know for certain though.

Titanic would have to be like 9 feet out of the water for that to be the red paint to scrape off the titanic

That iceberg has been debunked, the most widely accepted iceberg is the rehorek iceberg, it fits description almost perfectly and was photographed extremely close to the sinking site, this other iceberg was photographed rather far away from the actual site and doesn’t properly resemble the description. here's a thought, if there wasn't enough lifeboats, why didn't they off load the passengers onto the iceberg 🤔

1. The picture is edited 2. It looks nothing like what witnesses said it looked like 3. It was nowhere near where titanic sank 4. The story of the red paint was only added to the picture was only made public after the photographer learned of the tragedy

Uh-uh, and pictures were in color back then! Also, that would be ON the surface, when the red paint on the ship was BELOW the surface... Can anyone explain those incongruences...?!
