@shafolikapur: A Canadian business owner is pushing back on the claim that “immigrants are taking our kids’ jobs.” 🇨🇦 After struggling to hire locally, he says immigrant workers were simply ready to show up and work. His question: Is immigration really the problem or have expectations around work changed? What do you think? #Canada #Immigration #CanadianJobs
Somebody at my work quit the very first day because they cannot stand more than 2 hours..

It's the immigrant work ethic. Need is a motivator.

Who is complaining? Why? We, ALL at some point in Canada are or were “ Immigrants “ ( except those who were here before us: Indigenous people), perhaps We should be scared from AI, that, for sure will replace us on the work force 👀👀👀

Its all in how your raise them my son is 22 in construction as well he's been at work since 7am he left the house at 6am its now 10:45 he's still at work. I've always told my kids slow feet don't eat you work hard nothing in life is handed to you. I hope and pray when they have children they instill the same values. Parents today need to stop babying their children and teach that life isn't easy and not fair kids today are too soft.

Social media shows exuberant lifestyles… our Canadian born kids often don’t get their parents grinded to get where they are today

I'm also a biz owner and I know how you feel. I really hate the stupid minimum wages here in Australia, I find it makes our kids become more lazy and careless.

I’m an Ukrainian immigrant in Canada, who is still actually on an open work permit, as I’m too old for ircc requirements, though I have an experience, language and education level, I’ve started my own company and already created two positions (part time for now, but I’d like to keep growing) and hired Canadian young people, 17 and 18 y.o. My husband also builds his own company and hiring people. So our family created at least 5 positions, but not eligible for pr. sad, but I hope it will change.
