As someone who both been the chill and the crazy girl: it entirely depends on the guy. If I feel safe with a guy I am completely in peace but if he does toxic things that disregulate my nervous system I will be on edge all the time. So yea i think it’s entirely up to the guy which side he brings out from the girl

Unpopular opinion in these comments but sometimes chill girls are secure girls who have a lot of emotional maturity and ability to self regulate. Hard to find in younger women because it’s a skill that takes time to develop.

The downside of being a “chill girl” is that men think they can push your boundaries or speak to you disrespectfully because they know you’re capable of staying grounded or not reacting in a volatile fashion. Also, to emotional dysregulated men, being “chill” can read as being uncaring, so they deliberately try to trigger you just for a reaction. Thankful I’m now with a man who appreciates my chill nature.
